Selin Kara studied BSc. Chemical Engineering and BSc. Food Engineering at Middle East Technical University, Turkey. After her MSc. in Biotechnology and PhD at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), she moved to TU Delft for her PostDoc stay with Prof. Dr. F. Hollmann.
In 2013, she started her venia legendi at TU Dresden with Prof. Dr. M. Ansorge-Schumacher. In May 2018, she finalized her Habilitation at TUHH with Prof. Dr. A. Liese and since July 2018, she is an Assoc. Prof. Dr. at Aarhus University (AU), Denmark.
